Adeel Malik, BS
Adeel graduated in 2015 from the University of Maryland with degrees in Finance and Neurobiology. Throughout undergrad, Adeel did research at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in both the Otolaryngology and Neurology departments, contributing to several academic publications.
After undergrad, Adeel was a Healthcare Strategy & Analytics Consultant at Accenture for ~3 years. At Accenture, Adeel worked with organizations across the health and life sciences spectrum, including multi-national pharmaceutical / biotech companies, major health systems, and national pharmacies & retail clinics.
In July 2018, Adeel founded a digital health company called Lytic (lytic.tech). Lytic’s first product is an AI symptom checking and virtual triage application (clearstep.health) that helps patients and healthcare consumers understand next best steps for care. Lytic’s investors and advisors include senior physicians and executives at organizations such as Teladoc, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, BCBS of IL, BIO, and Accenture.
Adeel has served in various local Jamaat positions and is currently the Finance Secretary for AAMS.
