Hamid ur Rahman, MD

Dr. Hamid ur Rahman received his medical degree from Khyber Medical College, University Peshawar in 1968, and then completed his Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Edinburgh in 1975. In 1976, he moved to the USA and did his residency in orthopedics at New York University at Stony Brook, after which he moved to California and has practiced there since 1981.

Dr. Rahman served as President of the Los Angeles Jama'at from 1989 to 2013, and as National Naib Ameer USA since 1994.
