Mansoor. Bhatty, PHD

Mansoor Bhatty is a retired senior citizen, born and raised in Pakistan, till he emigrated to USA in 1999. He hopes to graduate this May from Robert Morris University, on ground at Moon, PA. His dissertation is on the “Impact of teaching presence on learning outcomes. A qualitative study of perceptions through the lens of online teachers”. He has a research agenda that will focus on the gaps in the current academic literature on teaching presence and other related topics. His last assignment in Pakistan, before leaving for USA, was CEO and MD of a Magnetic Coatings company, owned by Pakistan’s largest industrial conglomerate. Over his 25 years corporate experience he has held several C-suite positions and setups, from the ground up, several pioneering industries. He has a Bachelor’s in Engineering, an MBA and is also PMP certified. While in the USA, he has worked as a business consultant specializing in helping small business turn-around to avoid liquidation. At the Jamaat National level he was Auditor Ansarullah and also Assistant Secretary Local Quran Conference in TAQWA. Had taken one-year leave of absence to concentrate on the terminal degree, and is currently holding several positions at the local Pittsburgh Jamaat level.
