Mohiuddin Ovee, PHD

Dr. Ovee received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Auburn University in 2013, then carried out postdoctoral studies with Professor Walter C Chazin (Director of the Center for Structural Biology, the Molecular Biophysics Training Program, and the Vanderbilt University Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facilities). Dr. Ovee’s research focused on understanding the underlying molecular basis for the biological specificity and biochemical function of proteins and their interactions with other proteins. He applied an array of cutting-edge technologies, including NMR spectroscopy, other biophysical methods, and computational methods, to critical challenges in understanding the basis for health and disease. Currently, he is working as Sr. QA Manager-Analytical QA in Bristol-Myers Squibb. On the Jamaat Level, he serves as General Secretary, AAMS-USA.
