Sana maryam idrees, mBBS

Dr. Sana Maryam Idrees, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut. Sana has a special interest in treating patients with metabolic and endocrine conditions. She practices with a focus on preventative medicine and management of chronic conditions to optimize quality of life for patients. She received her degree from the University of Cologne, Germany and completed her dissertation at the University of Bonn, Germany on the subject of Quality of Life of Octogenarian after undergoing Open Heart Surgery. Sana has received numerous honors and awards, including Resident of the Year and Outstanding Ambulatory Resident. Additionally, she authored and co-authored many publications in the field of Internal Medicine. Sana has served the Jamaat in various capacities and currently is serving the jamaat as a Taleem Secretary in Connecticut.
